And I've learned my husband and I have about 10,000 decisions to make when it comes to getting our apartment ready before our baby girl arrives this July. I've discovered the "Snotsucker" is a real product that apparently I have to invest in. I love the bright colors against the dark wood. For example, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are an acceptable meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner and second dinner. ![]() Where did you get them?Ĭomment: This is really nice, especially for a small space such as an apartment. This has got to be one of the funkiest, cutest, artsiest nurseries I've seen in a long time. The first one is by Shag and is a print of Disneyland's Main Street from his Disneyland 50th Anniversary Collection. The artwork in the frames is from two local L.A. It was available at several sites online but we purchased ours at. We shopped around until we decided that the Baby Miro Modo line by DaVinci with its modernist Japanese look was perfect for the space. The furnishings we bought can be used for a while, and seeing as we live in an apartment, we looked for items that were scaled to size (read: small). We chose very basic furniture so that it wouldn't draw attention away from the decor. Finding just the right pieces took some time but we found the process very enjoyable. When it came time to decorate the baby's room rather than buying decorations and a matching crib set we bought handmade items that are original and one-of-a-kind. My wife and I are very artistic, so we knew that we wanted to design our own fun, funky baby nursery for our baby girl.
